Description
Radio, television, and film performer. Most awarded star of Australian television in history. Six-time recipient of the Gold Logie, including the Logie Hall of Fame award, and won the Star of the Year Award in 1959. Often referred to as "The King" or the "King of Australian television". Presented a 3AK morning radio program (1961–1962), and he worked at 3XY (1975)from June to December 1975. Appeared on a 3LO drivetime program (1976). Presented a computer-edited, three-hour Sunday morning program of music and comedy on 2DayFM. On television, he was known for 'The Graham Kennedy Show', the comedy show 'Blankety Blank', 'Graham Kennedy's News Show', and 'Coast to Coast'. Recipient of the Order of Australia.
