Description
Novelist, playwright and critic of art, literature and culture. Homosexuality was not a publicized aspect of his life, being devoutly Catholic - sin as damnation was a theme in his work. Books include 'Il fabbricone' (1961), and plays include Maria Brasca and Arialda. Had a long term relationship with his partner, Alain, who was also reflected in his work.
