Description
Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mercer and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Marsh & McLennan (2006-2011) and was director on the boards of a number of major American companies, including Cisco Systems, Wal-Mart, Orbitz, Worldspan, and Goldman Sachs. Served as Vice President for Corporate Tax of Delta Air Lines (1999-2000), and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (2000-2004). Served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Restructuring Officer of Mirant (2004-2006). Also known as M. Michele Burns.
