Description
Transgender author of teen novels, many involving LGBTQ characters. Former teacher. Notable for 'Hollow Pike', 'Cruel Summer', 'Being A Boy', and recently 'This Book is Gay' (2014). Considers his novels to be a support of human rights issues about being LGBTQ. Works with Amnesty International on the issue of LGBTQ human rights, and the Kaleidoscope Trust. Finalist, 2013 Young Human Rights Reporter competition. Winnner, Queen of Teen Award, 2014.
