Description

Minister of Public Enterprises in the National Assembly since 2014, and former Premier of the Western Cape province in South Africa (2008-2009) being the first coloured Premier. On defeat, served as Leader of the Opposition (2009-2014). Member of the African National Congress Party. Former Minister of Economic Development and Tourism. Former teacher.
