Description

Surrealist painter known for his eccentric manner and trademark moustache. Notable works include 'The Persistence of Memory' (1931, a painting of melting clocks). Author, architect, and film producer. Wrote his autobiography 'The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí' (1942). Had a relationship with poet Frederico Garcia Lorca.
