Description
Artist and comics illustrator. Assistant Professor of Comics and Writing-and-Literature at the California College of the Arts. Published work includes 'Glamazonia: The Uncanny Super-Tranny' (2010) and the history of LGBTQ comics 'No Straight Lines: Four Decades of Queer Comics' (2012, Lambda Literary Award). Former Talent Relations chair for the LGBT advocacy organization Prism Comics, of which he remains a member of the Board. Has curated numerous exhibitions of LGBTQ comics work. Awarded the Xeric Grant and the Prism Comics Queer Press Grant for his comics work.
