Description
Elizabethan playwright and poet who is considered the greatest writer of in the English language. Plays were originally written for a small repertory theatre in London, but have become universally produced around the world over time. The strength of his work is in portraying the depth of individual character and circumstance by written word. His works consist of 39 plays, 154 sonnets, and miscellaneous works of questionable attribution. These works consists of comedies, tragedies, romances, and history.
