Description

The last individual in Canada to be charged and imprisoned for 'gross indecency' in Canada (after he voluntarily admitted to having sex with other men) before the laws were changed to legalize homosexuality in 1969. Remained in prison from 1965-1971. There is pressure for the current government to issue a posthumous pardon. Also known as Everett George Klippert.
