Description

Metro reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and formerly its first female sports reporter, joining the group in 1979. Regarded by the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) as the first open LGBTQ reporter in mainstream news media in the United States. Formerly with the Buffalo Evening News and the New Orleans States-Item. Adjunct Professor, University of Pennsylvania. Appears regularly on television channel CNN’s 'Reliable Sources'. Member, NLGJA Hall of Fame.
