Description
Coach and trainer of equestrian riders and competitors. Chef d’equipe for the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), show jumping team, beginning in 2005. Represented the United States in international equestrian competitions as both a rider and coach. Gold medal, Pan American Games (1959), and team silver medal at the Olympic Games (1960). Rode on eight winning Nations Cup teams between 1958 and 1960. President of the United States Show Jumping Hall of Fame. Author of the book 'Hunter Seat Equitation' (1971), the definitive book on the subject. Columnist for the equestrian magazine Practical Horseman, titled 'Jumping ClinicCoach'. Brazilian Show jumping Equestrian Team in the 2016 Olympic Games.
