Description
Member, Ontario Arts Council Board of Directors since 2009. Formerly with the National Museums of Canada for 20 years and was Executive Director at the Canadiana Fund for 17 years. He retired from the Government of Canada in 2010. Among other awards, he is the recipient of the Governor General’s Medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada. In 2002, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal for volunteer contribution to the community. And in 2012, Mr. Slack received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
