Description

Literary critic, novelist, poet, and memoirist. Member of the Sibiu Literary Circle. Anti-communist and open homosexual who was jailed and who defected to Germany and became a contributor to Radio Free Europe. Writer of anti-communist essays, and notable for his autobiography, 'În cunoştinţă de cauză' (With Full Knowledge, 1990).
