Has contributed to The New Republic (Assistant Editor), The New York Sun, the New York Daily News, and The Hill, and has been a columnist for the New York Daily News and the Washington Examiner. Visiting Fellow, The Brookings Institution. National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association Journalist of the Year (2007). Also known as James Kirchick.
