Having directed FTM, a support group for trans men, from 2004 to 2007, is now director of Gendered Intelligence, an organisation that aims to engage young people in debates about gender. Currently working on a PhD focusing on transgender issues in popular culture. Appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (2014).
