Description
Stage name of Jon Birgisson. Lead vocalist and guitarist for the Icelandic rock band Sigur Ros. Formerly with the Bee Spiders. Early style reflected mood music, whereas current style is techno pop. Recently launched a solo album 'Go', for which his boyfriend did the artwork. Other albums include 'Takk' (2005), 'Riceboy Sleeps' (2009), 'G' (2010), 'Valteri' (2012), 'Kvelkur' (2013), and 'Shiver' (2020). Former partner was bandmate Alex Somers.
