Description
Independent Senator from the State of Arizona since 2018, formerly with the Democratic Party. First openly bisexual member of US Congress as Democratic member from Arizona (2012-2018). Formerly served in both chambers of the Arizona legislature, being elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2005, and the Arizona Senate in 2011. First woman to complete an Ironman triathlon.
