Novelist. Notable books include 'Black Leopard, Red Wolf' (2019), 'A Brief History of Seven Killings' (2014, Man Booker Prize Winner 2015), a fictional history of the attempted murder of Bob Marley. Teaches literature at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA since 2007. First Jamaican to win the Man Booker Prize in Fiction. Recipient of numerous other writing awards.
