Description
Chair, University of Alberta Board of Governors (2016). Teaches at MacEwan University, Mount Royal University and the University of Alberta. Board Member, Edmonton Pride. Served on Edmonton City Council, 1992-2007. First openly-gay man to be elected in province of Alberta. Edmonton Journal newspaper named him Citizen of the Year, in recognition of his hard work on behalf of the AIDS community (1986).
