Gay Muslim journalist and filmmaker, notable for his reporting on 'Inside Gay Pakistan'. Host of a Radio show on BBC Asian Network. Producer of the documentary 'Hometown' where he returns to his home town to investigate a death. Won a BAFTA, a Royal Television Society award, and a Grierson Trust award for his series 'Muslims Like Us' (2016), which aired on the BBC Two.
