Boxer, was the first woman ever, and the first LGBTQ person, to win a gold medal in boxing at the Olympic Games in 2012. Repeated her gold medal win at Olympic Games in 2016. World Champion (2016). Boxes in the Flyweight Division. Named the most influential LGBT person in Britain by The Independent newspaper(2012). First LGBTQ individual to dance with a same sex partner on reality television show 'Strictly Come Dancing' (2020). Appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (2016).
