Poet, notable for his first collection 'Night Sky with Exit Wounds' (2016), and 'On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous' (2019). Managing editor for Thrush Press. Recipient of the Whiting Award (2014) and a 2014 Ruth Lilly fellow. Has received honors and awards from Poets House, the Elizabeth George Foundation, the Civitella Ranieri Foundation, the Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, the Academy of American Poets, and a Pushcart Prize. Recipient of a MacArthur Genius Award (2019).
