Founder of Gaingels Syndicate, a venture capital investment organization which backs opportunities with LGBT founder or senior leadership/board members with equity. Founded Blue Jay Syndicate, an investment group for businesses started by Johns Hopkins University alumni. Co-founded Pervasive Group and L&M Media and was the Chief Evangelist at Imperative. Served as a past Board of Governors member for StartOut and Board Member for Marriage Equality USA, an advisor for to Out in Tech, and as a Trustee Scholarship Advisory Group member for Johns Hopkins. A regular speaker and panelist, he also writes regularly for Inc.com and Huffington Post.
