Documentary filmmaker, notably for the production of 'Word is Out' (1977) which profiled 26 people telling their gay life stories. Created 'The AIDS Show: Artists Involved With Death and Survival,' (1986) which followed members of a theater group in San Francisco as they developed pieces about the epidemic. Died of AIDS.
