Description
Rower with the Wairau Rowing Club, racing in world and Olympic races for the national team. Won Bronze at 2015 World Championships. Won the national double sculls title of New Zealand in 2012 and 2013. In 2013 joined men's double scull and dominated the World Cup events, winning Gold at both Sydney and Eton; in the Henley Royal Regatta won the Double Sculls Challenge Cup and a third Gold at the Lucerne World Cup. National Champion, single sculls (2017, 2018). Set a world record with his gold medal at the World Rowing Cup II (2017). Recipient of Male Athlete of the Year from the Association of National Olympic Committees (2017).
