United Church Minister. Former Chief Executive Officer, Asthma Society of Canada (2011-2015). Former Liberal Party Member of Parliament for Toronto, 2008-2011. Re-elected to a new term to parliament as Liberal Party member for Don Valley West in 2015 and 2019. Served in various roles such as co-chair of the House of Commons and Senate Special Joint Committee on Physician-Assisted Dying and as chair of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security. In 2019, Oliphant served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Also known as Rob Oliphant.
