Description
Rower, and the first woman to row solo from Japan to Alaska, on her route to circumnavigate the world by rowing, bike, and kayak completed in 2015. Also was the first woman and the youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean. Extreme athlete. Author of the books 'A Dip in the Ocean: Rowing Solo Across The Indian Ocean' (2011) and 'Dare to Do: Taking on the planet by bike and boat' (2016). Appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire, 2011. Motivational speaker.
