Former Social Democratic Party Member of Parliament (1981-1988) and Minister of Health (1993-1994). First openly gay member of Parliament in Denmark. Former Member of European Parliament (1999-2004). Since 2004 has been editor of television network dk4. Former Member of the Board, National Bank of Denmark (1994-1998). Member of Vejle municipal council (1978-1981). Has recently been accused of being anti-semetic. Lawyer.
