Description
Professor, Department of History, University of Jerusalem. Noted author of the books 'Sapiens: A Brief History of Mankind' (2014) and 'Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks From the Stone Age to AI' (2024). Specialty is medieval history, world history, and military history. Won the Polonsky Prize for Creativity and Originality (2009, 2012), and the Society for Military History’s Moncado Award (2011). Also known as Yuval Noah Harari.
