QueerBio.Com is pleased to present its annual list of Outstanding LGBTQ Youths for the year. The biographies of these individuals were added to the biographical website during the year when their actions and achievements came to the attention of the editors.
Some have faced great risk to their personal lives by being publicly identified as LGBTQ. Others represent a new generation that is comfortable with their personal sexual identity. All have used their skills, profile and success to serve as role models to help others live their lives openly. They come from the worlds of activism, sports, politics, writers, fashion and entertainment.
Each has made a material impact in their field of interest, and several have become tops in their field. This includes the 2020 World Track Athlete of the Year from Venezuela Yulimar Rojas, U.S. member of the California Assembly Alex Lee, Olympic Taekwondo competitor Jack Woolley from Ireland, and two-spirit drag show competitor Ilona Verley from Canada.
