Description

Executive Director, Queers for Economic Justice, which works to raise the profile of low-income LGBTQ people, and get queer families and transgender people placed into shelters. Co-Founder of the San Francisco Lesbian & Gay History Project. Award-winning filmmaker. Feminist. Formerly, director of education, advocacy and community building at SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders), a New York program dedicated to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender senior education, advocacy, and community organizing. Author, journalist.
