Description

Taakeit Aaya or "Gifted Carver" Haida of the Naikun Raven clan. Two spirit indigenous artist. Works include totem poles, painter, jeweller, and wood carver. Creates large-scale paintings involving urban youth in Vancouver. Received a British Co.lumbia Creative Achievement Award for Aboriginal Art (2017).
