Description
Biographer, notably as co-author with his partner Steven Naifeh of the books 'Jackson Pollock: An American Saga' (1989, Pulitzer Prize in 1991) and 'Van Gogh: The Life' (2011). Together they also founded the legal publishing company Best Lawyers in 1981. His struggles with brain tumours was documented in his book 'Making Miracles Happen' (1997). Also co-authored numerous self-help books.
