Description

Baroque sculptor, notably for' Ganymede and the Eagle of Jupiter' (ca 1540-1545), 'Children and the Young Faun' (ca 1542-1547), and the world-famous Manneken Pis statue. Was sentenced to death for sodomy. Brother of sculptor Francois Duquesnoy.
