Description
National Director, Peoples Climate Movement, a coalition of organizations involved in climate change awareness. Served as the National Coordinator of the People’s Climate March. Instructor at the Columbia University School of Social Work. Has taught at the City University of New York in Social Welfare Movements and Human Service Administration. Member of the PUSHBACK Network - an organization of statewide alliances in six states expanding participatory democracy and increasing the participation of people of color, low-income people and youth in elections and the electoral process. Co-author of the book 'Tools for Radical Democracy: How to Organize for Power in Your Community' (2007).
